Machine Operator – Day, Afternoon & Night Shifts

About the role

Ausreo is seeking Machine Operators for its new Wacol facility. The role offers day, afternoon and night shift options and involves operating a range of steel‑reinforcement machinery in a fast‑growing manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate off‑coil, shearline and bending machines safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre‑start checks and set‑up equipment according to the latest Safe Operating Procedures.
• Load and unload trucks and operate onsite cranes as required.
• Monitor production output, maintain quality standards and conduct quality‑control inspections during runs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and contribute to continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Experience operating cranes, industrial machines and loading trucks.
• Previous work in a manufacturing or production setting, preferably in reinforcing steel.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and safety‑conscious attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
