Logistics & Procurement Coordinator – Full‑time, Kalgoorlie

About the role

ABBA Engineering is seeking a Logistics & Procurement Coordinator to support its Kalgoorlie workshop and regional projects. The role is full‑time, on‑site with a residential allowance, and involves managing the flow of materials, equipment and consumables for maintenance, shutdowns and new projects.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders, source urgent materials and negotiate with suppliers.
• Receive deliveries, process inventory and issue stock, consumables and equipment using Simpro.
• Coordinate freight to project sites, prepare materials for shutdowns and mobilisation activities.
• Conduct regular stocktakes, maintain inventory accuracy and follow up on shortages or delivery delays.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and operational teams to ensure resources are available when needed.
• Provide procurement and logistics support to other regional operations during peak periods or staff absences.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in logistics, procurement or inventory management within an industrial or construction environment.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks and make practical decisions in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong communication skills to build relationships with suppliers, freight providers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Simpro inventory and purchasing software.
