Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Abbott's Supply Chain team is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator based in Macquarie Park, NSW, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. The role coordinates end-to-end logistics through third-party warehouse and transport providers so that products are received, stored and distributed efficiently. It suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, process improvement and working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact between Abbott and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Coordinate inbound receiving, warehouse storage, inventory management and outbound distribution.
• Monitor day-to-day warehouse operations to meet service levels and operational KPIs, and ensure compliance with service agreements and procedures.
• Coordinate inventory transfers between physical and system stock locations, and liaise with warehouse partners to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily stock reconciliation, review cycle counts and investigate stock discrepancies, damaged goods and inventory losses.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation, work with freight carriers and monitor freight performance and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a logistics, warehouse or supply chain role.
• Experience coordinating relationships with third-party logistics providers.
• Previous experience investigating and resolving customer complaints about logistics, inventory or order fulfilment.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, and excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Previous experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
