Local Area Marketing Manager - Owned Media & Community

About the role

ALH Hotels, which owns and operates more than 350 pubs across Australia, is looking for a Local Area Marketing Manager - Owned Media & Community. You will lead and empower the delivery team responsible for owned digital channels, local content creation and community partnerships, working closely with Local Area Marketing Partners and the Campaign Delivery team to drive guest footfall, visibility and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and resource the owned media and community team, distributing workloads and meeting service level agreements.
• Oversee the day-to-day management, performance and accuracy of venue websites, social media accounts, Google Business Profiles and local directory listings.
• Set up standardised workflows, content schedules and quality assurance processes, using dynamic scheduling systems and CMS tools.
• Work with the Campaign Delivery team to deploy and localise national and state campaigns across owned touchpoints.
• Build frameworks for community sponsorships, sports club sponsorships and local business partnerships.
• Support venue activations and promotional events while enforcing compliance with ABAC, RSA, RSG, privacy laws and gaming regulations.

Required profile

• 6+ years in digital marketing and social media management, preferably in multi-site retail or hospitality.
• Proven track record of leading and developing digital content and media delivery teams.
• Demonstrated experience building community sponsorship frameworks and local partnership strategies.
• Tertiary qualification, preferably in marketing, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Digital platforms: Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, CMS and social media scheduling tools.
• Strong relationship-building skills and brand adherence and compliance discipline.
