Lifestyle Team Leader

About the role

Palm Lake Care Beachmere is looking for a full‑time Lifestyle Team Leader to plan and deliver engaging lifestyle programs for residents. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will lead a small team of Lifestyle Assistants and coordinate community activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet residents, inform them of daily activities and welcome new arrivals.
• Create social profiles, activity plans, monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Organise community events, external outings and liaise with volunteers, schools and service clubs.
• Support staff development and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
• 1‑2 years experience in a Team Leader or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated experience in diversional therapy or lifestyle programming.
• Current National Police Check and a valid C‑class driver’s licence.

• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a small team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Compassionate approach to older people and their families.
• Self‑motivation and ability to work without supervision.
