Lifestyle Manager – Community Participation

About the role

The role leads and develops a community participation service for a growing disability services provider in south‑west Sydney. You will oversee a community hub, manage daily operations and help participants build skills, connections and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the Hub Lead, Activity Leads and Support Workers.
• Oversee activity planning, staffing and day‑to‑day service delivery.
• Build positive relationships with participants and their families.
• Maintain a safe, responsive and well‑organised service environment.
• Use feedback and observation to improve activities and engagement.
• Contribute to service growth across additional locations.

Required profile

• Experienced disability services leader with background in community participation, day programs or group‑based support.
• Strong understanding of the NDIS and person‑centred practice.
• Organised, approachable and calm when priorities change.
• Ability to coach frontline staff and communicate effectively with participants and families.

Required skills

• Experience leading or supervising frontline staff.
• Knowledge of NDIS community participation or day program services.
• Confidence planning group activities and coordinating service delivery.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Cultural awareness and inclusive service delivery.
• Familiarity with Active Support, positive behaviour support, rostering or service documentation (valued).
