Lifestyle Assistant

About the role

The Lifestyle Assistant works within residential aged‑care facilities to promote independence and wellbeing for residents. You will design and deliver engaging activities, provide one‑on‑one support, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure holistic care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate inclusive lifestyle and wellbeing programs.
• Provide personalised one‑to‑one support aligned with resident goals.
• Assist in creating, reviewing and updating wellbeing care plans.
• Ensure every resident and stakeholder receives an exceptional experience.
• Work closely with clinical teams to support holistic resident wellbeing.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Current COVID‑19 vaccinations and 2026 flu vaccination.
• NDIS clearance, children’s check, and a valid driver’s licence.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
