About the role
The Library Marketing and Communications Liaison supports libraries across Boroondara by increasing community awareness, engagement and participation in library services through strategic communications, marketing and storytelling.
Key responsibilities
- Promote library services, collections, programs and initiatives consistently and creatively in line with Council brand and governance processes.
- Strengthen internal and external communication channels to support community connection and ensure audience‑focused, timely, and effective library communications.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in communications, marketing, media, public relations or a related field.
- Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, marketing, media, public relations, professional writing or equivalent professional experience.
Required skills
- Highly developed written communication and storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and enterprise digital systems for multi‑channel campaigns.
