Level 3 System Administrator

About the role

Epic IT is seeking a highly experienced Level 3 System Administrator to provide advanced technical support for a diverse client base. The role focuses on rapid resolution of high‑severity issues, root‑cause analysis, and delivering proactive infrastructure management.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for high‑severity technical issues and escalations, ensuring swift resolution.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of recurring problems and implement preventive solutions across client environments.
• Provide expert‑level support for servers, networking, security and cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
• Monitor client infrastructure using RMM tools to identify and remediate potential issues before downtime.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with server management, network configurations and troubleshooting (Windows Server, Active Directory, firewalls, switches).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS) and cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on rapid issue resolution.
• Proven communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams under pressure.
