Level 2 IT Support Engineer – Managed Services

About the role

Join a respected Managed Services Provider in Perth as a Level 2 IT Support Engineer. You will work on diverse client environments, supporting infrastructure, cloud and security projects while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support via phone, remote access, email and occasional onsite visits.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Microsoft infrastructure and cloud issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, Exchange Online and Intune.
• Manage networking hardware including switches, routers and firewalls.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery and virtualization platforms.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations and project delivery.
• Respond to security alerts and support cybersecurity implementations.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in IT support, systems administration or MSP environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune.
• Networking fundamentals, firewalls, switches and routers.
• Backup and recovery solutions.
• Virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Experience with RMM and PSA tools (highly regarded).
