Legal Specialist

About the role
Scissero is looking for a Legal Specialist to support live private equity, M&A and financing transactions for global investment firms and corporates. You will draft, review and negotiate NDAs and related transaction documents, applying client‑specific playbooks and leveraging the company’s AI‑enabled platform to ensure speed, consistency and accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Review, draft and negotiate NDAs and ancillary documents across private‑equity, M&A and financing deals.
- Apply client‑approved playbooks and structured frameworks to maintain alignment with sponsor‑side legal and commercial positions.
- Identify deviations from playbook language and insert appropriate fallback clauses.
- Manage your own workflow and document queue to meet defined turnaround times.
- Support multiple concurrent transactions in fast‑paced environments.
- Collaborate with the global legal team to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery.
- Work with product and engineering teams to refine AI tools that underpin the delivery model.
Required profile
- LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- 1‑3 years of experience in transactional legal work, contract review or a high‑volume legal environment.
- Proven experience reviewing NDAs or similar transactional agreements.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Comfort working within clearly defined rules and structured playbooks.
