About the role
The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is hiring two full‑time Lecturers in Pharmacy Practice to support the new Doctor of Pharmacy program. This teaching and research position will involve curriculum development, student mentorship, and impactful research.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging pharmacy practice courses, coordinate modules, assess students and provide academic support.
- Build an independent or collaborative research programme, secure funding, publish findings and supervise Honours and higher degree students.
- Establish partnerships with industry, government and professional bodies, and contribute to school service and mentorship.
Required profile
- PhD in pharmacy, pharmacy practice or a related field.
- Demonstrated high‑quality teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
- Professional experience enabling teaching of clinical therapeutics, professional practice, social and ethical dimensions, and clinical epidemiology.
- Track record of publications, external research funding and supervision of research higher degree students.
- Experience in course coordination, curriculum design and service roles within a school or professional community.
