About the role
The School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking a Lecturer (Level B) to join its teaching‑focused team. You will deliver midwifery education, coordinate courses and contribute to curriculum development while engaging in scholarly activities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery teaching.
- Coordinate courses and develop curriculum materials.
- Conduct learning and teaching research or scholarship.
- Supervise Honours and higher degree research students where eligible.
Required profile
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (Ahpra) as a registered midwife.
- Minimum Master’s qualification in midwifery (or equivalent).
- Previous midwifery teaching experience in the tertiary sector.
- Desirable: Ahpra endorsement for scheduled medication and enrolment in a doctoral program.
Required skills
- Demonstrated clinical midwifery expertise.
- Proven teaching and curriculum development abilities.
- Experience in academic research or scholarship.
