About the role

Macquarie Business School is seeking a qualified academic to join its Department of Management as a Lecturer in Management. This full‑time, permanent position combines teaching, research, leadership and service responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in management subjects such as entrepreneurship, strategy, project management and digital innovation.
• Conduct and publish research in top‑tier journals (ABDC A* or A rankings) and secure external competitive grants.
• Contribute to departmental governance, curriculum development and community engagement.
• Provide academic leadership and mentorship to students and junior staff.

Required profile

• PhD in Management or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly publications in high‑impact journals.
• Strong commitment to innovative teaching and research excellence.
• Relevant industry experience is desirable.

• Salary Package Level B: $127,138 – $150,425 per annum plus 17% superannuation.
