Learning Support Coordinator

About the role

Cadmus helps universities redesign assessment, and its Learning Support Managers work with academics to close the gap between what universities intend for their students and what students actually experience. The Learning Support Coordinator supports these managers across a set of university pilots, working day to day alongside a Learning Support Manager. It is a Melbourne-based hybrid role suited to someone early in their career with a real interest in learning design or how universities work.

Key responsibilities

• Keep pilots on track by coordinating schedules, onboarding, check-ins and milestones for the academics in each pilot, and spotting who needs a nudge or a hand.
• Be a friendly, reliable point of contact for the academics you support, answering questions and following up so nothing falls through the cracks.
• Co-facilitate workshops and training with the Learning Support Manager, then lead standard sessions such as onboarding and platform walkthroughs.
• Learn how academics redesign assessment for a world with AI, and over time advise them on simpler design questions.
• Share what you hear from academics with the Learning and Product teams so they can build the right things.

Required profile

• A genuine interest in how people learn, and a good grasp of how universities and academics work.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with busy, sometimes wary academics.
• Energy for a day full of conversations, workshops and back-to-back meetings.
• Problem-solving on the spot and the drive to deliver at pace across many academics and pilots.
• Nice to have: hands-on curiosity about AI tools, experience supporting technology adoption in a university or complex organisation, and comfort picking up new software quickly.
