Learning & Organisational Manager

About the role

This high‑impact leadership position is responsible for shaping learning, capability and organisational development across the employee lifecycle in a values‑driven organisation. You will design and deliver learning programmes, manage performance cycles and oversee student placement initiatives while embedding coaching, mentoring and HBDI frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and deliver the annual Learning and Development programme.
• Design and implement organisational development initiatives aligned to strategy, values and culture.
• Lead capability development programmes that strengthen operational excellence and workforce sustainability.
• Embed coaching and mentoring frameworks to support leadership development and talent growth.
• Utilise HBDI to enhance leadership capability, communication and team effectiveness.
• Manage the annual performance management programme, ensuring alignment and continuous improvement.
• Lead employee engagement survey debriefs and support action‑plan implementation.
• Oversee student, trainee and apprenticeship programmes, including major event placements.
• Create skills‑based learning pathways aligned to industry and role‑specific competencies.
• Build and maintain internal and external partnerships to keep programmes contemporary.
• Maintain learning systems, reporting and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Confident, credible and solutions‑focused Learning & Development or Organisational Development professional.
• Tertiary qualifications in HR, Organisational Psychology, Business, Learning & Development or a related field.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) preferred.
• 3–5+ years’ experience delivering people programmes across onboarding, performance, engagement and leadership.
