Learning & Development Manager

About the role

Ready to turn strategy into action? As Shift’s Learning & Development Manager you will embed our capability framework and drive programs that unlock talent across the business. You’ll act as both strategist and hands‑on builder – championing AI in L&D, launching practical programs from onboarding to coaching, and making learning an everyday advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose team needs and launch impactful programs quickly.
• Embed capability frameworks into recruitment, onboarding, and growth pathways.
• Pilot AI tools that power personalised development plans.
• Support and evolve the manager development offering.
• Boost or reset the online learning platform as needed.
• Track and share visible progress, celebrating wins.

Required profile

• Proven experience rolling out L&D programmes in fast‑paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to bring capability frameworks to life.
• Hands‑on experience with AI in learning (bonus for having built a solution).
• Coaching skills and comfort working with senior leaders.
• Decisive, adaptable and thrives on change.
