Learning and Development Advisor

About the role

Primero is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Advisor to join its new head office in Perth. Reporting to the Manager of Learning and Development, you will drive capability across the business by designing, delivering and continuously improving development programmes aligned to the L&D strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on, coordinate and improve development programmes such as the Leadership Program and Supervisors Foundation Program.
• Support onboarding for new employees, creating engaging e‑learning modules and onboarding guides.
• Partner with functional leads and stakeholders to identify capability needs and translate them into practical learning solutions.
• Establish and manage the Learning Management System, designing and maintaining e‑learning content and learning pathways.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the Learning and Development strategy aligned to business priorities.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business Psychology or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of learning and development methodologies, tools and best‑practice approaches.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to identify needs and deliver effective learning solutions.
• Experience in engineering, mining or construction sectors is preferred.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on coordination and execution.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e‑learning design.
• Capability to develop and deliver leadership and supervisory programmes.
