Leading Hand – Precast Concrete

About the role

Benzini Precast Concrete is looking for a skilled, hands‑on Leading Hand to manage daily production at its Yatala factory. You will translate the Project Manager’s programme into safe, organised factory work while leading a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Organise daily work, brief the factory team and ensure safety compliance.
• Read drawings, verify formwork, reinforcement, cast‑ins and pre‑pour requirements.
• Supervise concrete placement, vibration, curing and finishing.
• Complete QA records, address issues before work proceeds and protect finished products for dispatch.
• Keep the Project Manager informed of progress, material needs, testing requirements and production issues.

Required profile

• Strong practical knowledge of concrete production, preferably in precast or architectural concrete.
• Experience supervising or mentoring production workers.
• Ability to read drawings and check reinforcement and cast‑in components.
• Attention to concrete finishes, workmanship and quality.
