Leading Hand Mechanical Fitter – Refinery

About the role

EnerMech is expanding its scope at Lytton (AMPOL) Refinery and seeks an experienced Leading Hand Mechanical Fitter to join the Brisbane team on a full‑time basis. The role offers competitive EBA benefits, a good work‑life balance and the chance to work in a high‑risk, heavy‑industry environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead crews to successful task completion in hazardous area environments such as fuel terminals or refineries.
• Perform mechanical fitting, maintenance and prior maintenance activities on high‑risk equipment.
• Support call‑outs, shutdowns and after‑hours coverage as required.

Required profile

• Trade qualified with a minimum of 10 years industry experience.
• Valid Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets.
• Construction Industry Card and prior experience in high‑risk/heavy‑industry settings.
• Strong communication, teamwork and a proven safety‑first mindset.
