Lead Software Engineer – Mobile Development (Crypto Wallets)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the development of high‑performance crypto wallet applications on mobile platforms. You will work in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment, shaping the architecture and security standards of next‑generation financial products used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop cross‑platform mobile apps with React Native, ensuring performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience on iOS and Android.
• Provide technical leadership to a small team of mobile engineers, guiding architectural decisions, coding standards, and delivery timelines.
• Architect core mobile foundations such as state management, navigation, modularization, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs, SDKs, WebSockets, and blockchain services, and contribute to backend components when needed.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce engineering excellence.
• Translate product and design requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt modern mobile tools, frameworks, and development patterns.

Required profile

• Extensive mobile development experience with a strong focus on React Native, React, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven track record of leading or mentoring mobile engineering teams and owning architecture for large‑scale applications.
• Deep understanding of mobile CI/CD pipelines, native build processes, and front‑end tooling.
• Experience integrating native modules and working with iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) for low‑level functionality.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and distributed backend integration.
• Familiarity with backend development (Node.js or similar) and ability to contribute to API improvements.
