Lead, Operational Readiness

About the role

The Lead, Operational Readiness supports the uplift of enterprise delivery capability, focusing on change management, operational readiness and adoption across delivery teams. Working within the Chief Transformation Office, the role provides practical advice, learning pathways, tools and role‑based training to help teams plan, manage and embed change effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Support the uplift of delivery capability in change management and operational readiness across delivery teams.
• Help delivery teams understand and apply enterprise delivery and change management expectations.
• Deliver targeted capability uplift activities such as advice, workshops, communities of practice and learning sessions.
• Identify recurring capability gaps and contribute to practical improvement opportunities.
• Ensure consistency in how change impact, readiness, adoption and sustainment are planned and evidenced.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of change management principles, methods and practices.
• Knowledge of delivery frameworks, lifecycle, governance and project delivery disciplines.
• Ability to collect, analyse and interpret change load data to identify hotspots, risks and readiness concerns.
• Understanding of banking, financial services or other highly regulated industries (preferred).
• Familiarity with regulatory, risk, compliance, operational or technology change environments (preferred).
