Lead Housekeeper – Treasure Island Resort

About the role

Join the NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort as Lead Housekeeper and ensure the accommodation and public areas are spotless, delivering a five‑star experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Act on daily housekeeping reports to guarantee no dusty corner is missed.
• Maintain high standards in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Oversee laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding and linen inventory.
• Coordinate with reception, submit reports and keep the team informed.
• Support the Housekeeping Manager with training, inventory control and departmental meetings.
• Ensure compliance with WHS and lost‑property procedures.
• Lead room inspections and conduct regular staff training.

Required profile

• Experience in resort or hotel housekeeping, preferably with team‑lead responsibilities.
• Strong passion for guest service and keen eye for detail.
• Ability to motivate and maintain a positive team environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Sense of humour and adaptability in a dynamic resort setting.
