Lead Cyber Analyst

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a Lead Cyber Analyst to join its high‑performing cyber security team on a 12‑month contract. You will work across diverse ICT environments, including cloud, legacy and emerging technologies, to strengthen the organisation’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments for ICT systems, applications, Azure Cloud, legacy ICT and AI technologies.
• Develop and review security documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs) and SSP Annexes.
• Provide security guidance aligned with PSPF, ISM and the Essential Eight.
• Communicate cyber risks and solutions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement secure solutions and maintain compliance with Australian Government security standards.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience conducting cyber security risk assessments in a government environment.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud, legacy ICT, AI technologies and complex systems.
• Familiarity with PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight and networking infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to brief senior stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain NV1 clearance and hold a valid Vulnerable People/WWCC and Police Check.
