Lawyer / Associate - Agriculture Property Law

About the role

A rare opportunity is available for a Lawyer, Associate or Senior Associate to join the Agriculture team of Thynne + Macartney, a Brisbane-based firm. The team advises farmers, graziers and agricultural businesses across Queensland on agribusiness and succession planning, rural property transactions, land access negotiations, commercial agreements and property and business disputes. Mentoring, responsibility and career progression are offered.

Key responsibilities

• Act for the firm's established client base of farmers, graziers, family enterprises, corporate entities and institutional investors.
• Handle rural property and commercial matters, including property and business disputes.
• Work directly with clients and within a team of lawyers and paralegals, alongside partners.

Required profile

• Completed law degree and post-admission experience in property or commercial law.
• Experience with large-scale property acquisitions.
• Exposure to rural property, business structures, land access or succession planning is advantageous.
• Passion for acting for farmers, graziers and agricultural businesses.
