Labourer / Forklift Operator – Clontarf

About the role

A busy warehouse and production team in Clontarf is looking for a reliable, physically fit Labourer / Forklift Operator. The role keeps stock moving between the warehouse, powder coating and assembly departments. It is an ongoing position with consistent weekday hours, paid at $35.05 per hour, with potential for permanent employment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move stock, including metal bars stored in crates, between departments
• Move materials from racking to powder coating, assembly and back to the warehouse
• Pick and pack orders and match labels against stock
• Load and unload stock from racking, using forklift operation and manual handling
• Manually handle metal bars, averaging about 30 bars per day
• Put stock away and maintain organised storage areas
• Carry out inventory and stock checks
• Follow safe load restraint practices and workplace health and safety procedures

Required profile

• Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Good physical fitness and ability to do manual handling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable attitude and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
• Full working rights required
