Lab Technician / Production Assistant

About the role

Programmed is looking for a reliable Lab Technician / Production Assistant to support the manufacturing of foil lining used in insulation products at its Scoresby facility. The role combines hands‑on laboratory testing with assistance to the production floor, ensuring that all products meet the company’s high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct basic testing on insulation products, including flammability and strength assessments.
• Perform general quality assurance checks to verify product specifications.
• Support production floor staff with routine tasks and material handling as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in a dusty/dirty manufacturing setting.

Required profile

• Positive, team‑oriented attitude with willingness to assist floor staff.
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment.
• Reliable, proactive and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in a dusty/dirty setting and wear required personal protective equipment (steel‑cap boots, high‑visibility vest).
