L1-L2 IT Support Officer (On-Site, Aged Care)

About the role

This is a permanent, full-time, customer-focused IT Support Officer position in Strathfield, NSW, working onsite. You will be the primary on-site technical contact for aged-care facilities across three locations, managing the helpdesk, triaging support requests, maintaining documentation and troubleshooting technical issues so day-to-day IT operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1-2 IT support across hardware, software, networks, mobile devices and infrastructure.
• Manage helpdesk tickets, prioritise requests, diagnose issues and resolve technical problems.
• Support Google Workspace and specialised aged care systems, including nurse call, CCTV and access control.
• Install and configure IT equipment across multiple sites, escalating complex issues to technical specialists as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk or MSP environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience supporting ChromeOS environments, networking fundamentals and general IT infrastructure.
• Personable, patient and empathetic, with a genuine passion for customer service, able to support people of all technical abilities.
• Current and clean driver's licence, clear police check report, ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and full Australian working rights.

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
• Onsite work in Strathfield, with weekly travel to a client in Chatswood and monthly travel to Oberon, NSW (including an overnight stay).
