Kitchen Utility Worker – Rockhampton (Full‑Time)

About the role

Join Cater Care as a Kitchen Utility Worker and help maintain clean, safe, and efficient dining environments across our Rockhampton sites. This full‑time, permanent position offers a hands‑on experience in hospitality facilities and a clear pathway for career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and clear dining areas for service periods.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure kitchen utensils and surfaces are spotless.
• Follow legislated food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Provide friendly, efficient service during peak periods.
• Support colleagues across departments as needed.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including waste management, sweeping, and mopping.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Kitchen Hand or similar role.
• Strong commitment to friendly customer service.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, and positive “can‑do” attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.
• Pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
• Valid driver’s licence (automatic or manual).
• Australian citizen or permanent resident.
