About the role

The Key Account Manager at Mondiale VGL will own, develop, and grow strategic client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and commercial performance. You will act as the trusted advisor to customers while protecting and enhancing the company’s commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts, driving retention, service excellence, and profitability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact at all client levels, delivering seamless service.
• Conduct regular account reviews, reporting, and high‑impact quarterly business reviews.
• Translate market intelligence into actionable client strategies.
• Oversee onboarding, SOPs, and continuous optimisation of client supply chains.
• Maintain financial performance at shipment and account level, focusing on margins.
• Resolve escalations and exceptions quickly and calmly.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and global teams for cross‑functional delivery.

Required profile

• 4+ years of proven experience in key account management or senior account roles within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong commercial acumen with ownership of margin, P&L impact, and account profitability.
• Ability to build genuine, multi‑level client trust.
• Confidence navigating global trade dynamics and translating them into client‑ready strategy.
• Collaborative, solutions‑first mindset for complex freight challenges.
