Key Account Manager - FMCG

About the role

A global confectionery and snacking brand is recruiting a Key Account Manager in Australia. The role drives the commercial performance of major retailer accounts through the appointed distributor partner. It does not hold the direct retailer trading relationship but directs and monitors the distributor's performance, holding it accountable for in-store execution, account spend management, P&L delivery and sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial performance of major retailer accounts across Australia through the distributor partner.
• Direct and monitor the distributor's performance.
• Hold the distributor accountable for in-store execution, account spend management, P&L delivery and sales target achievement.

Required profile

• 3-4 years of experience in Australia.
• At least 1 year of experience managing Coles and/or Woolworths accounts (mandatory).
• Proven track record of monitoring and controlling trade spend and account P&L, with strong attention to budget discipline.

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills, able to turn retailer and distributor sales data (e.g. Nielsen/Circana, Coles 360, Woolworths WOW Insights) into actionable execution and spend plans.
