Key Account Manager - Costco & Aldi

About the role

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to lead growth across Alternative Channels such as Costco and Aldi for a leading Australian sports nutrition and health & wellness business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow key customer relationships across Alternative Channels.
• Develop and execute customer plans to drive sales, profitability and market share.
• Identify and unlock new business and ranging opportunities.
• Lead customer negotiations, ranging discussions and commercial presentations.
• Manage customer P&Ls, trade spend, forecasting and margin performance.
• Partner closely with Category, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and the wider Sales team.
• Use customer, category and market insights to develop compelling commercial propositions.
• Support NPD launches and drive increased ranging and distribution across accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or National Account Executive in FMCG (food, beverage, health, wellness, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple retailers and manage customer‑facing relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen with solid understanding of P&L, trade spend and margin management.
• Ability to analyse data and market insights to create profitable strategies.
• Excellent negotiation skills and capability to build credible relationships.
• Experience in developing and executing customer plans and identifying new business opportunities.
