K-6 Teacher (Permanent or Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Boddington District High School is building a pool of qualified teachers for Kindergarten to Year 6 positions across permanent, fixed‑term, full‑time and part‑time arrangements for the 2027 school year.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse student performance data, especially in literacy and numeracy, to drive progress.
• Integrate digital technologies throughout the curriculum.
• Apply Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies to maintain an organised, engaging classroom.
• Implement high‑impact teaching practices such as daily reviews, engagement norms, checking for understanding and explicit instruction.

Required skills

• Knowledge of evidence‑based teaching practices.
• Experience using student data to inform instruction.
• Proficiency with digital learning tools.
• Behaviour management aligned to PBS.
• Familiarity with Stepping Stones Mathematics, Spelling Mastery, Sounds‑Write and Heggarty programmes.
