Junior Web & AI Automation Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Web & AI Automation Developer to support an Australian growth agency. You will work directly with the business owner to turn approved designs and strategies into functional websites and connected systems, focusing on website implementation, CRM workflows, digital marketing, and basic AI automation.

Key responsibilities

• Build, update and maintain responsive websites and landing pages using Zoho Sites, WordPress or other low‑code platforms, adjusting HTML, CSS and JavaScript as needed.
• Configure CRM lead‑capture and follow‑up workflows, connect forms and email platforms via APIs, webhooks or integrations.
• Set up client accounts in Zoho Social or similar marketing tools, schedule content and assist with monitoring and reporting.
• Support the setup and testing of simple AI assistants and automations, researching tools and applying programming logic to troubleshoot.
• Document changes, protect credentials, communicate progress and follow approval procedures before production releases.

Required profile

• 3 years of commercial experience in web development or website implementation.
• Practical programming background with strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills.
• Hands‑on experience with website builders or low‑code platforms such as Zoho Sites or WordPress.
• Ability to diagnose issues across browsers, understand APIs, webhooks and JSON, and a willingness to learn new integrations.
• Strong written English, logical problem‑solving, detail‑oriented and reliable internet connection.
