Junior to Mid-Level Architect

About the role

RMA Paddington Studio, part of Rob Mills Architecture & Interiors, is looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Architect. The practice creates award-winning residential spaces on exceptional land, and its Sydney studio wants someone who combines technical capability with creativity and a strong design sensibility. You will work alongside Rob Mills and experienced architects to turn design intent into resolved, coordinated and buildable architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in producing high-quality residential architectural documentation.
• Develop and coordinate project documentation in Revit.
• Support the translation of design intent into considered, buildable outcomes.
• Develop architectural details with accuracy and attention to design intent.
• Assist with integrating architectural and consultant information.
• Contribute ideas and identify opportunities to improve design and project resolution.
• Review your work for accuracy, consistency and alignment with project and RMA standards.
• Work closely with senior architects, designers and consultants throughout project delivery.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant architectural experience.
• Experience on high-quality residential projects is highly regarded.
• Strong design sensibility and a willingness to learn and develop architectural judgement.
• Clear, collaborative, organised and comfortable in a design-focused team.
• Proactive, curious and motivated to grow technical and design capability.

Required skills

• Strong Revit proficiency and confidence within established project documentation.
• Developing technical, detailing and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of the NCC and relevant Australian Standards.
