Junior Software Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Developer to join our software team. Working under senior developers, you will help design, build, test and maintain applications while expanding your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications under senior guidance.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code following best practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and technical issues.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in developing web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Take part in code reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Support testing, deployment, and production monitoring activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies and work collaboratively.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C# or C++.
• Familiarity with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of frontend or backend frameworks.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and SQL concepts.
• Version control using Git.
• Awareness of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
