Junior SEO Specialist – Sydney

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior SEO Specialist to join our Sydney team. You will own client accounts, deliver SEO campaigns that drive real results, and develop both technical and strategic expertise through a structured career path.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SEO campaigns across diverse industries, aiming to maximise organic search performance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships via email, calls, and meetings, ensuring transparent communication.
• Execute on‑page and off‑page SEO tactics, including technical fixes, content optimisation, and link‑building.
• Produce monthly performance reports that translate data into clear insights for clients.
• Audit websites with specialised SEO tools, identify technical issues, and create actionable plans.
• Continuously learn through internal training, workshops, and 1:1 sessions with senior SEO leaders.
• Collaborate with the wider SEO team, share successes, ask questions, and contribute wherever needed.

Required profile

• Based in Sydney, Australia.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment such as retail, hospitality, or university settings.
• Strong desire to learn on‑page and off‑page SEO fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable in emails, calls, and meetings.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, with solid time‑management abilities.
• Results‑driven, proactive, and enjoys building client relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Suite.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs and SEMrush (bonus).
