Junior School Teacher (K-6)

About the role

Wenona School is looking for a creative and dynamic Junior School Teacher to inspire young women in Years K‑6. You will design and deliver innovative teaching programmes, support student wellbeing and collaborate with a team of professional educators.

Key responsibilities

• Teach according to the Wenona Effective Teaching Cycle and collaborate with fellow educators.
• Plan and implement authentic assessments that inform teaching and learning.
• Support the social and emotional wellbeing of each student.
• Utilise ICT to enrich student learning beyond the classroom.

Required profile

• Passionate about education, adaptable and creative in supporting each child.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with staff, students and parents.
• Committed to continuous professional development and upholding Wenona’s values.
• Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme is advantageous.
