Junior Recruitment Consultant (Hybrid, Canberra)

About the role

Bright Vision Consulting is seeking a Junior Recruitment Consultant to support its end‑to‑end talent acquisition process. This hybrid contract position is based in Canberra and offers a mix of office and remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Source and attract candidates across multiple channels.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews.
• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and client hiring teams.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records in recruitment systems.
• Draft and publish job advertisements.
• Assist with shortlisting, reference checks and administrative tasks for senior consultants.
• Communicate role requirements, timelines and outcomes to candidates.
• Contribute to team targets and adopt best recruitment practices.

Required profile

• Foundational recruitment skills such as sourcing, resume screening and interview coordination.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with candidates and clients.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills for accurate data entry and documentation.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, balancing onsite and remote responsibilities.
• Commitment to fair, inclusive and non‑discriminatory hiring practices.
• Interest in recruitment and IT consulting; internship or entry‑level HR experience is a plus.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
