Junior Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our construction team. In this hands‑on position you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of construction, maintenance and fit‑out projects across our national portfolio, working closely with senior project leads, contractors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting and progress tracking.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and on‑site activities under guidance.
• Attend site visits to monitor progress, quality and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as scopes of work, RFIs, variations and reports.
• Support procurement processes and ensure a safe working environment in line with WHS/OHS requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Contribute to problem‑solving to keep projects on track.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction, project coordination or site‑based roles.
• Understanding of construction processes, site operations and project documentation.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: tertiary qualification or diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, Building or related field; exposure to fit‑outs, refurbishment or maintenance projects; knowledge of OH&S/WHS regulations.
