About the role

An expanding underground mining contractor is seeking skilled and reliable Jumbo Operators to join on a casual, contract basis, with genuine temp-to-perm potential for the right candidate. The company is growing, with a new portal soon to be cut and further projects on the horizon.

Key details

Roster: 2/2 FIFO (Thursday to Thursday)
Shift pattern: 2 weeks days followed by 2 weeks nights, with no changeover
Pay: about $1,300 to $1,800 per shift plus superannuation on all hours, depending on experience
Average of 2-3 cuts per shift with dedicated nipper support
Initial 3-month contract with genuine temp-to-perm potential
All PPE provided; weekly pay

Required profile

Proven experience operating Twin Boom Jumbos
Strong underground hard-rock mining experience
Valid Working at Heights ticket and relevant underground competencies
Manual WA Driver's Licence
Ability to pass a medical and meet mobilisation requirements
Team-focused attitude and willingness to assist across the crew
Full Australian working rights and current police clearance
