Java Engineer

About the role

As a Java Engineer you will design, develop, test and support Java‑based applications and services that power our commodities and global markets platforms. You will analyse business and technical challenges, deliver reliable software solutions and contribute to new development, feature enhancements and migration initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust Java applications and micro‑services.
• Develop, test and maintain RESTful APIs and cloud‑native components.
• Collaborate with product and risk teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in migration projects and continuous improvement of existing platforms.

Required profile

• 4+ years of Core Java development experience.
• 2+ years with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of micro‑services architecture, relational databases and SQL.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with AWS, Docker or Kubernetes.
• Hands‑on experience with Java backend and UI frameworks such as Angular or React.
