ITC/CN Operator – Civil Machine Operator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Machine Operator to join a fast‑growing Western Australian contractor on a 4‑month project supporting large‑scale piping systems and minor civil works for the resources and mining sectors. The role involves precise trenching and pipe handling on a 2/1 roster, working days only for 12‑hour shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate civil machinery for trenching and pipe handling in accordance with project specifications.
• Utilise the RIIHAN311F ticket to conduct operations with an integrated tool carrier.
• Apply the HWRL‑CN ticket for CN‑specific tasks.
• Maintain equipment safety and perform routine checks.
• Adhere to all site safety, health, and environmental procedures.
• Work 12‑hour day shifts on a 2/1 roster (two days on, one day off).

Required profile

• Valid C Class driver’s licence.
• Ability to obtain a National Police clearance.
• Pass a laboratory drug & alcohol screen.
• Complete standard medical assessments (fitness, audiometry, spirometry).

Required skills

• RIIHAN311F – operation of integrated tool carrier.
• HWRL – CN certification.
• Trenching and pipe handling expertise.
• Experience operating civil construction machinery.
