IT Support Technician – Adelaide

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join The Shoe Group’s IT team in Adelaide. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with 1‑2 years of technical support experience who want to develop their skills in a retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to retail stores and the Support Centre team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on POS systems, payment devices, laptops, printers and network connections.
• Log, prioritise and, where necessary, escalate tickets while keeping users informed.
• Assist with hardware set‑up, configuration and on‑site support as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
• Support IT projects, roll‑outs and participate in an on‑call roster aligned with store trading hours.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology, or 1‑2 years of technical support experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to non‑technical users.
• Organised, reliable and calm under pressure, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Enthusiasm for learning and building technical capability.
