IT Support Officer – Australia

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, customer‑focused IT Support Officer to join our growing team in Australia. The role provides first‑line technical assistance to internal users and external customers, handling hardware, software and network issues while contributing to the reliability of our IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support via phone, email, chat and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network and user‑access problems.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, peripherals and software applications.
• Create user accounts, perform password resets and manage access rights.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
• Document support tickets, troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Support system updates, routine maintenance and IT asset management.
• Assist with employee onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Deliver timely, courteous customer service.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems and networking concepts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to prioritise multiple support requests.
