IT Project Manager / Business Analyst

About the role

A well-established Gold Coast organisation is undertaking a broad programme of technology modernisation and business transformation, with several projects running across Microsoft 365, information management, cloud and legacy systems. It is looking for an experienced IT Project & Business Analyst to bring structure, momentum and strong business engagement to its technology portfolio. Working closely with the IT Lead, you will take a hands-on role across project delivery and business analysis, from discovery and requirements through to implementation, go-live and transition to BAU.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, facilitate workshops and map current and future-state processes with business stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors
• Coordinate delivery activities and ensure projects have fit-for-purpose governance and controls
• Focus on modern workplace and Microsoft 365 transformation, SharePoint Online and information management, network drive rationalisation and migration, legacy platform replacement, cloud migration and business readiness
• Support business process improvement, system integrations and data flows, testing, UAT, cutover and go-live coordination, and change, communications, training and user adoption
• Coordinate vendors and implementation partners, and handle project planning, RAID management, reporting and governance

Required profile

• Experienced technology delivery professional with a blend of IT project management and business analysis skills
• Comfortable working across multiple concurrent initiatives and able to introduce governance without unnecessary process
• Ideally: end-to-end IT and business transformation experience, hands-on business analysis (requirements, workshops, process mapping), and stakeholder management across business and technical environments
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and drive outcomes

• UAT, business readiness, change and adoption support
• Nice to have: ERP implementations, Power Platform, Power BI, ITSM, cyber/security or OT environments
