IT Portfolio and Delivery Coordinator

About the role

Bed Bath N' Table's IT team is looking for an IT Portfolio and Delivery Coordinator to join its head office team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will keep technology projects organised, visible and moving, maintain portfolio records, coordinate project activities and give practical business analysis support. It is a junior role suited to someone with early experience in IT coordination or business analysis who enjoys accurate administration and dependable follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the pipeline of requests and initiatives, project plans, status reports and registers of actions, risks and dependencies.
• Organise meetings, capture clear decisions and follow up owners and due dates; raise delays and gaps early.
• Help clarify business needs, map processes, document requirements and acceptance criteria, and support testing.
• Coordinate agreed training, communications, readiness checks and operational handovers.
• Track vendor deliverables, project costs and approvals, and keep documents accurate and accessible.

Required profile

• Early experience, typically one to three years, in IT delivery, project coordination, business analysis or a comparable role.
• Some hands-on Business Analyst experience: gathering and clarifying requirements, documenting processes and supporting validation or testing.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, written communication and follow-through across competing tasks.
• Confidence asking questions, working with business and technical colleagues and escalating issues within agreed responsibilities.
• Relevant qualifications, retail exposure and familiarity with delivery tools are desirable but not essential.
