IT Analyst – Technical Support for Mining Operations

About the role

We are looking for an IT Analyst to provide first‑level operational technical support for users, IT infrastructure and VHF radio communications at our mining sites. The role ensures continuity, availability and safe operation of all IT and radio services, contributing directly to personnel safety and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for hardware, software, connectivity and corporate systems; log and manage incidents, resolve simple issues and escalate complex ones.
• Install, configure and maintain PCs, notebooks, printers and other IT devices; perform regular system checks during shifts.
• Support VHF radio equipment, install and maintain radios in vehicles, offices and field areas, and service repeaters and communication systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of IT and communication equipment, minimizing operational impact.
• Follow safety, occupational health and information‑security policies; report unsafe conditions and incidents.
• Document tasks, configurations and interventions; assist with IT asset inventory and propose technical improvements.

Required profile

• Technical or tertiary education in Systems, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in IT support, preferably in an industrial, operational or mining environment.
• Familiarity with VHF radio communications is a plus.
• Strong service orientation, commitment to safety and analytical ability.
