ISAM Engineer (Contract) - Sydney

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent need for an ISAM Engineer on a 6-month contract in Sydney, Australia, with possible extension. The role builds a functional ISAM platform for a client, supports server deployment and end-to-end troubleshooting of ISAM components, and works with server configuration, policies, user registries, clustering and EAI. Only Australian or NZ citizens or PR holders are eligible.

Key responsibilities

• Build a functional ISAM platform for the client through coordination and teamwork.
• Support deployment of servers and troubleshoot issues across all ISAM components.
• Work with ISAM server configuration, policies, user registries, clustering, EAI and federation modules.
• Resolve issues and close tickets; lead and take part in outage calls.
• Create standard operating procedures, update knowledge-base documentation and write policy and procedure manuals.
• Take part in daily, weekly, monthly, customer and internal meetings and give activity reports.
• Understand the SLA and make sure it is met under the customer agreement.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and third-party vendors for break-fix, and help implement best practices, processes and tools.

Required profile

• Australian or NZ citizen or PR holder only.
• Understanding of SSO, SAML, SAML 2.0, OAuth and ADFS.
• Ability to work independently, resolve issues and close tickets.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferred: architecture and design experience in IAM, and migration and implementation experience with ISAM.

Required skills

• ISAM (Base, Advanced Access Control, Federation) and IAM/LDAP operations support.
• SSO configuration with Access Manager and federated SSO using SAML standards.
• Troubleshooting from server level to user level, including SSL certificate renewal.
• Workflow knowledge of design, provisioning, junctions, adapters, clustering and policies.
• Knowledge of Tivoli Directory Server, EAI, PD Admin, Python, federation module, distributed session cache and web services.
• Desirable: Java and JavaScript programming, Jenkins/Ansible/GitHub/Chef/Puppet automation, CICD/DevOps, Terraform, Splunk, Azure migration, and customer management.
