iOS Developer – Mobile Innovation

About the role

Join Qantas at our brand‑new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide and help build intuitive, high‑performing mobile experiences for our customers. You will work within cross‑functional squads to deliver and continuously improve our iOS application.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native iOS applications using UIKit, SwiftUI and modern Swift concurrency features.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, technology leads and test engineers to deliver high‑quality features.
• Perform performance tuning and debugging with Xcode Instruments.
• Write unit and UI automation tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience building enterprise‑scale native iOS applications in large organisations.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented design, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑team collaboration and communicate with stakeholders.

Required skills

• UIKit, SwiftUI, Async/Await, Swift Package Manager, Swift Concurrency.
• Xcode Instruments for performance tuning.
• Swift testing, UI Automation testing.
• CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions).
• Version control with Git.
• Experience with server‑driven architectures (preferred).
